Who this is about

HVACFranklinPark.com is operated by PGH PRO HUB, a service of RHG Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we do with information you give us through this website.

We are not an HVAC contractor. The purpose of this site is to take your request for HVAC help and pass it to HVAC professionals who serve the Franklin Park area.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a request form, we collect:

  • The type of HVAC help you selected
  • Your ZIP code
  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • How soon you need help
  • Any description of the problem you choose to add
  • The fact that you gave consent, the wording you agreed to, and when

Please do not include health information, financial account details, or other sensitive personal information in the description box. It is not needed to arrange HVAC work.

Information collected automatically

When you submit a request we also record the page you submitted from, your browser’s user agent string, the referring page if there is one, and the time of submission. Your IP address is used transiently to apply rate limiting that protects the form from automated abuse.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — which pages are read, which links are clicked, and whether request forms are started and completed. Google sets cookies or similar identifiers to do this. We use this in aggregate to improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser’s privacy settings.

Why we use it, and who we share it with

The main thing to understand: we share your request with contractors. That is the point of the form. When you submit a request and tick the consent box, we share the details above with one or more HVAC professionals so they can contact you about the work you asked about — by phone, text message or email. Your request may be shared with more than one professional so that you have a realistic chance of a response.

We also use your information to:

  • Respond to you about your request
  • Detect and prevent spam and automated abuse of the form
  • Understand in aggregate how well the site works, so we can improve it
  • Comply with legal obligations

We may share information with service providers who operate this site and our systems on our behalf — for example website hosting and the systems that route requests — and where required by law or to protect legal rights.

We do not sell your personal information for unrelated third-party marketing.

What contractors do with it is up to them

Once a contractor receives your request, they are an independent business handling your information under their own privacy practices. We do not control what they do with it. If you want a contractor to delete your details or stop contacting you, tell them directly — and you are welcome to tell us as well.

How long we keep it

We keep request records for as long as needed to operate the service, to resolve any question about a request, and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your details we will do so where we are not required to retain them. We cannot retrieve information already passed to a contractor.

Your choices

  • Do not submit the form. You can read every page on this site without giving us anything.
  • Ask us for a copy, a correction, or deletion of the details you submitted, using the contact address below.
  • Ask a contractor to stop contacting you. Tell them directly.
  • Control cookies through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will tell you what we can do.

Children

This site is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
